I wore this for a whole afternoon at the pool and it was basically dry by the time I got to the car, which I didn't expect from a swimsuit. The side pockets were a nice surprise too, fit my phone and keys without bulging.
The adjustable drawstring waist actually stays put when I'm swimming laps, which I didn't expect from a basic short. Pockets are deep enough for my phone and keys without anything falling out on the walk to the beach.
